Prn Home Infusion Nurse

Home Health Experience a plus; Registered Nurse, Skills: Port, PIV, PICC, and Midline care; lab draws when needed; Infusions in the home such as: Antibiotics, Immunoglobulins, Alpha-1 Antitrypsins, Enzyme replacements, and more; teaching and training patients when needed such as with Antibiotics, SCIG

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an infusion setting, administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy for any adverse reactions or complications
- Educate patients and their families on the administration of medications and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an infusion or outpatient setting
- Experience with dermal fillers, catheter care, ostomy care, tube feeding, spinal taps, and diagnostic evaluations is highly desired
- Ability to assess patients' needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficient in medical office software and electronic health records systems
