We are searching for a PRN (as needed) Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician) to cover medical clinics and be cross-trained to perform administrative and clinical duties. The Ultrasound Technician will perform echocardiographic exams, diagnostic screening of all arterial and venous, upper, and lower extremities, and diagnostic screening of thyroid, aorta, and renal exams.

Location: 1106 Clayton Ln, Austin, TX 78723
Schedule: Monday thru Friday; as early as 7:30a and as late as 6:00p.
Essential Functions:
- Perform patient screenings, including diagnostic testing.
- Carotid plaque and intima-media thickness.
- Thyroid ultrasound.
- Aortic aneurysm screening.
- Kidney ultrasound.
- Echocardiogram.
- Submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
- Enter and maintain accurate electronic patient records.
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, sterilized, safe, and organized with adequate supplies and well-functioning equipment.
- Communicate with patients, helping each understand the screening process.
- Deliver compassionate patient care and customer satisfaction.
Education & Experience:
- 2+ years experience.
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technician, or Vascular Ultrasound Technician.
- Must be willing to train on Echocardiography.
- Accountability.
- Attention to detail.
