We are seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients
- Provide therapy services to patients, including exercises, activities of daily living, and other interventions as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Document patient progress and communicate with the Occupational Therapist regarding patient status
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding therapy services
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Texas
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work PRN hours as needed
