Under the supervision of the pre payment Supervising Program Technician III, the Key Data Operator (KDO) performs a range of key entry and clerical duties related to processing Draw Games, Scratchers and 2nd Chance claims submitted by California State Lottery (Lottery) players.
This position requires a current Key Data Operator exam. This exam is a written exam and exam eligibility must be obtained in order to be considered for this position. If you need to take the exam or if your score has expired, click here to gain list eligibility.
This position is headquartered at Lottery Headquarters in Sacramento. This position is not eligible for telework.

In fiscal year 2021-22, the California Lottery generated sales of more than $8.8 billion with over $2 billion earned for California public schools.
