Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our Grace team. As a Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging with the children, following our Montessori curriculum and practices, and promoting social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and fosters social skills
- Provide individualized attention to each child, addressing their unique needs and abilities
- Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on student performance and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
- Foster a love for learning by incorporating interactive activities, games, and hands-on experiences into daily lessons
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials and supplies
Qualifications
-Experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for students with special needs
- Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques
