Pre-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Social Worker

Starting Rate:

Up to $50.00 per hour based on clinical services provided.

Working Location:

Santa Clarita and Porter Ranch

Working Hours/Shift:

Part-Time; Flexible schedule 

• On the job training including paid CEU opportunities and career development
• AMFT, ACSW and APCC’s receive supervision for BBS hours (when applicable)

What you bring (qualifications):

• Master's degree in a Mental Health, Human Services, or closely related field.
• Experience Two (2) years’ experience in mental health field, and direct service experience with severely emotionally disturbed families/children; experience with high risk families/children. Experience should be with children or adolescents with dual diagnosis in residential or outpatient settings.
• Registered with CA BBS as an MFT Intern or ASW.
• Minimum 10 hours per week. 
• Licensed in California as LMFT or LCSW.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Professional Liability Insurance.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

This position has primary responsibility for mental health services to individuals, couples and families. The Mental Health Specialist (MHS) provides mental health services including assessment, evaluation and provides therapeutic services including but not limited to individual and family therapy, collaterals, crises intervention skill-building, and treatment planning. Based on clinical skills the therapist may be requested to obtain additional training and certifications as needed.
