Gaber Consulting PLLC is seeking a Private Investigator Business Development Manager for its southwestern area operations.
Summary Description
The Private Investigator Business Development Manager is an administrative and field position. The individual will have strong multitasking, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. They will have a passion for our industry and an innovative approach to ideas to expand potential business opportunities. Through using market research and analyzing the company’s current services, their purpose is to assist the company to achieve its goals of being a leader in the areas of services provided and financial growth.
The preferred candidate is a self-motivated individual who has attention to detail, integrity, a willingness to put in extra effort and the ability to adapt and work with a multitude of different people and situations. The candidate has the ability to work independently, demonstrate a professional image, maturity, self-confidence, positive attitude and is a good communicator.
This is a full-time position with evenings and weekends, as necessary. Most duties will be performed remotely and while on field job assignments.
This position will oversee Business Development and conduct investigations in the regions of Arizona, Nevada, and Southern California, along with other regions in which business may develop. Travel is required.
Other duties will include, but not limited to consulting and training for Gaber Consulting staff, affiliates, and clients.
Compensation will be $60,000 to $80,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience. Salary will consist of a base salary plus commissions.
Investigator
- Duties include but not limited to:
- Conduct private, government and background investigations
- Conduct both stationary and mobile surveillance
- Conduct location and process service
- Conduct in-depth interviews and provide written and recorded statements
- Conduct Internet and social media investigations
- Write investigative reports including investigation summaries, comprehensive reports, interview statements, etc.
- Ensure time and expenses are properly documented
- Work with the Forensic Accounting Investigator(s) on Financial Investigations
Business Development
- Duties include but not limited to:
- Work with the CEO in marketing concepts
- Identify and research potential clients
- Make and give presentations to prospective clients
- Work with current clients to evaluate and improve current service contracts
- Work with current clients to identify their needs for additional services
- Negotiate contracts and client set-up/renewal of services
- Monitor teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
Sales/Marketing
Duties include but not limited to:
- Working with the management and/or CEO in marketing concepts for business growth in all services provided by Gaber Consulting, PLLC and affiliates when necessary
- Working with current clients and current clients of affiliates to evaluate and improve current service contracts and to add additional services to those clients
- Negotiate contracts and client set-up/renewal of services for Gaber Consulting, PLLC and its affiliates
- Oversee marketing systems such as Google, SEO, Websites, etc.
Consultant
Duties include but not limited to:
- Consult affiliated businesses on large scale client contract negotiations as requested
- Consult current and potential clients on areas of knowledge and experience
Trainer
Duties include but not limited to:
- May need to obtain and maintain Trainer Certifications as necessary and required by clients
- Provide training to staff, clients, and affiliates
- Keep accurate training records
- Assist clients with ensuring training requirements are met by their employees
- Maintain ongoing training and improvement of themselves and employees
Skills:
Skills include but not limited to:
- The ability to take initiative, prioritize, and respond to work demands in a flexible manner with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function as a team player who can interact with others at all levels
- Computer literate and is proficient in Excel, Work, and Outlook
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to high professional ethical standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of integrity
- Familiarity with business-to-business sales
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- Five (5) or more years of investigation experience
- Three (3) or more years of Management / Supervisor experience
- Good knowledge of business functions
- Flexible schedule to include occasional evenings and/or weekend work as needed
- Willingness to take on other duties as they arise
- Must pass background check
