This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.
The Private Equity Accountant is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting for a variety of the firm's fund portfolio.
The ideal candidate is someone who is:
- Able to exhibit strong technical accounting skills.
- Focused on providing timely, accurate work.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
- Work independently as well as successfully part of a team.
What you will do:
- Maintain general ledger accounts for assigned fund portfolio.
- Responsible for all aspects of daily and monthly activities related to the funds, including preparing cash analyses to determine distribution needs, preparing distribution packages, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Perform quarterly reconciliations for fund operating activity.
- Produce quarterly capital account statements and other required reporting, such as debt compliance reports.
- Prepare annual audited financial statements and assist auditors with annual audit.
- Prepare ad hoc requests and help with department projects related to continuous improvement.

Education
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience (CPA a plus)
