We are looking for a compassionate and experienced LPNto provide private-duty nursing care to one patient in their home. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a care team and have a strong understanding of the nursing process. The patient is a 2-year-old girl with an Epileptic condition that causes seizures and major cognitive delay. This position requires the LPN or RN to be able to handle a medical epileptic emergency as she averages 3-5 seizure in a 24-hour period.
There is medication administration through her G-tube, which is also her only way of nutrition currently. Be the person to make a difference in this little girls life!
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to the patient, including medication administration, general care, and patient monitoring.
- Communicate with the patient's healthcare team, including the physician, nurse practitioner, and case manager as needed.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to the patient.
This assignment has a special pay rate of $39.00 hour that is valid for 1 year from the date of your first shift.

Job Requirements
- Valid Nursing License (LPN/RN) in the State of New Hampshire
- One year of pediatric working experience within the last five years preferred
- Home care experience preferred
- Current CPR Certification Required (We offer monthly renewal classes paid for by Interim HealthCare)
- Administering and managing G-tube feedings and medications according to the patient's care plan.
- Promptly responding to and managing seizures or other medical emergencies.
