Form of workThe Private Duty HHA:
• responsible for providing personal care and tasks related to the activities of daily living.
• respond sensitively to patient/family needs by observing and reporting any changes, including physical, spiritual, social and emotional, to the Private Duty manager or administrator.
Position Requirements
• Experience: One to three months and/or training preferred.
• Home Health Aide certification with minimum of 40 hours completed or successful passage of competency test
- Valid Florida State Driver’s License
- Certifications:
- Home Health Aide certification with minimum of 40 hours completed or successful passage of competency test.
- Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- HIV/AIDS
- Infection Control (within last 2 years)
- Minimum of 2 hours Alzheimer’s Training
- Minimum of 2 hours Self-Administered Medication Administration
