Private Caregiver/Housekeeper

The number one responsibility is care giving for a 73 year lady with Lupus that is in in-home hospice. This includes help with bathing, transferring from bed to power wheelchair and from power wheelchair back to bed using slide sheets, as needed; also helping her with tasks around the house. Her medications are being administered by her son, so that will not be your responsibility.

She gets around the house in her power lifting wheelchair.

She is a very pleasant lady and has a very "can do" attitude!

The second part of the job includes light housekeeping such as, vacuuming, laundry, changing bed sheets once a week, keeping kitchen and bathrooms clean, and some shopping.

You will need to be comfortable with dogs and cats, and also be a non-smoker.

Having your own transportation to get to and from work is a must. A front wheel vehicle or 4 wheel drive will make the commute easier in the winter months.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
