Position Summary
The Private Bank Customer Concierge is responsible for greeting, engaging, and communicating with all Private Bank clients, and for building strong rapport and relationships with these clients. This person is responsible for providing superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal co-workers. Superior customer service includes highly accurate, efficient, courteous, and friendly interaction and transaction processing. Adequate Private Bank product knowledge and ability to problem solve on an on-going basis is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with the Private Bank's established customers and develop total banking relationships with prospective customers.
  • Cater to unique, very specific needs of Private Bank customers, going above and beyond to provide them with exceptional customer service at all times and exceed our customers' high expectations.
  • Efficiently process customers' requests in a timely and accurate manner with a high level of professionalism.
  • Work under the direction of the Private Bank Officer to complete a variety of tasks as assigned including:
    • Review business organizational and financial documents such as trust agreements and/or complex loan documents.
    • Work cooperatively with the Funding Operations Team to ensure effectiveness and efficiency throughout the loan process.
    • Review loan documentation for accuracy and manage technical exceptions.
    • Understand and anticipate the needs of Private Bank customers to offer solutions and develop relationships.
    • Determining the workflow, move loans through the pipeline, sometimes with limited supervision depending upon the loan type.
    • Serve as a point of contact for Private Bank customers and maintain periodic contact to assist throughout their deposit needs.
    • Provide support for interactions between Private Bank customers, the Bank, and third-party investment service to build relationships.
    • Open deposit accounts and assist customers with queries concerning bank services including ATM cards, direct deposit, online banking, wire transfers, and more.
    • Follow up with Private Bank loan customers to obtain insurance and other documentation and ensure all documentation is up to date.
    • Work closely with Client Services Team to resolve any customer issues that may arise.
    • Provide exceptional service to and build relationships with other business customers of the Bank as needed.
    • Point of contact for CDARS/ICS.
    • Opportunity to become a committee member within the Bank, some committees requiring Private Bank Officer and/or Board approval (for example: Business Continuity Planning Committee, Credit Card Team, others as needed).
  • Follow established audit, security, and compliance guidelines.
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required.
  • Represents Timberline Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive "can-do" attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
  • Interact with other teams to collaborate and problem-solve.
  • Engage professionally in person, via email, and on the phone to assist with customer needs or issues.
  • Work independently and in a team environment to maximize productivity in a most efficient manner.

Required Knowledge and Expertise

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Superior, above and beyond customer service skills.
  • Superior people, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Customer-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
  • General working knowledge of compliance laws/regulations regarding loan and/or deposit products.
  • Understanding of extremely complicated financial statements and loan terms.
  • Relationship management skills for high net-worth customers' commercial, small business, and personal financial needs.

**Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules, the salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered. In addition, Timberline Bank provides a variety of benefits to full time employees, including health insurance coverage, vision insurance, dental insurance, life and disability coverage, 401K plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
