Job Description
The Dimensional Analysis Technician II will perform and maintain component Dimensional Analysis equipment and measurements. The person in this role will provide analysis reports to customers, engineers, and quality personnel. The Dimensional Analysis Technician II will perform independent project tasks and collaborate with customers and team members.
Qualifications (required):
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM), Computer Aided Design (CAD) or related experience.
• Great customer service and ability to work overtime.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and very detail oriented.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Good ability to navigate and understand CAD files, Teamcenter and PolyWorks software.
• Travel Requirements: 10%
Education/Skills (preferred):
• Certificate in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Metrology or related.
• Associate degree in engineering, Design, Metrology or related field.
• Strong math skills and a good understanding of geometry.
• Knowledge of automotive components.
• Knowledge of other forms of 3D scanning such as Client systems
