SalaryWe are a Busy Ophthalmology/Optometry practice who has been in the valley for 40 years. We are patient centered and strive to provide excellence in service and care. We are hiring a full time Payment and Authorizations Specialist at our Sun City Location. The job responsibilities include coordinating and processing payments for patients with elective procedures. Duties also include, working with insurance companies to determine patient eligibility and benefits, obtain authorizations and deductible information. This position also communicates directly with the patient regarding form of payment and their coverage for the procedure they are scheduled for. This person will also partner and work closely with the surgical facility. Strong communication skills both in person and on the phone, attention to detail, ability to multi task, a self starter, and strong follow through are a must.
