To operate the City's Print Shop equipment and manage the mailroom. This is accomplished by prioritizing job requests, operating offset printing presses, folding machines, paper cutters, and high-speed copiers, maintaining equipment, managing warehouse inventory, answering telephones, assisting customers, and providing technical guidance with satellite copiers. Other duties include receiving and delivering mail and assisting with unloading docks.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversees printing and copying by setting up jobs for scanning or printing; reviewing computer operations for copiers; and advising customers on their print requests
- Provides equipment maintenance by adding toner and oil; cleaning and vacuuming machines; changing belts; resetting paper trays; and operating meter machines for postage.
- Receives deliveries and supplies by unloading materials; directing delivery drop-offs; and delivering supplies to satellite copiers.
- Assists with mail by receiving and delivering incoming items; operating mail insertion machines; and folding and inserting water bills and checks.
- Distribute incoming mail to department mailboxes ( around 1,000 pieces of mail per day)
- Receive deliveries from UPS, FED EX, Amazon
- Coordinate business cards printing with vendor via website
- Request quotes for flyers, brochures, large print jobs with vendor
- Receive procurement card and notify P-card administer for distribution
- Distribute and track PPE supplies (hand sanitizers, masks, gloves)
- Insert 300-500 Paycheck advice into reverse flap envelopes on Fridays, bi-weekly
- Data Entry and other administrative tasks
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSet, TASC)
- Three years of related experience in a mail room setting or in a printing shop.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience with general office equipment maintenance (such as adding toner and oil; cleaning and vacuuming machines; changing belts; resetting paper trays, etc.)
- Knowlege of Mail Room equipment and processes and experience with receiving and delivering mail
- Experience with managing warehouse inventory
- Proficiency in office computer applications, such as MS Outlook and other basic office computer applications
- Experience with high speed copiers
- Ability to work independently
