To that end, we are looking to grow our Customer Service Department and seeking a Print Production Associate to join our team.
PRINT PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE'S JOB SUMMARY
Act as liaison between customer, sales, and production department. Receive
customer print inquiries concerning prospective, current, and past orders and enter data into various company estimating/production spreadsheets. Relay daily updates to the management team for production schedule purposes and maintain customer contact regarding job status while performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-sale:
· Communicate with current and prospective customers pertaining to printing requirements and collect production print specifications.
· Prepare production order specification forms, including layouts and breakdowns.
· Coordinate handling of customer pre-press material and specifications.
· Secure written quotes and proposals from suppliers and vendors for preparation of customer RFPs.
Post-sale:
· Translate print job requirements into detailed job tickets and shipping/postal instructions (pack outs) for delivery of customer products.
· Ensure job instructions are entered and verified in the various systems and queued into the production schedule.
· Handle inquiries pertaining to job status, orders, changes, and discrepancies.
· Coordinate job production with department managers within shop and/or external vendors as required and issue job specific purchase orders to suppliers/vendors.
· Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or three to six months
related experience and/or training in print processes; or equivalent combination
of education and experience. Strong skills in Microsoft Applications specifically Excel, scheduling.
