Print Finishing Operator Overnight- Urgently Hiring.

As a Finishing Operator and member of the Print Finishing Team you will help bring our customers' package labels to life, enabling them to stand out over the competition, and create a customer experience that is second to none. SHIFT AVAILABLE: 5pm-5:15am, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (36.75 hours)
Overtime is paid after 40 hours; typical OT available is at least one shift per month
Responsibilities:
- Setting up, running, and maintaining a Karlville Slitting Machine in an efficient and timely manner
- Carefully and thoroughly inspecting completed labels for errors and defects
- Identifying, recommending, and implementing areas for Lean improvement/modification
- Performing work based on finishing spec sheet and priorities assigned by the Finishing Lead / Supervisor
- Preparing and maintaining appropriate documentation for assigned finishing tasks
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability finishing equipment
Working hours: 5:00 PM - 5:15 AM
Skills:
- Preferred: One or more years of related flexographic printing experience
- A Plus: Experience working with lean manufacturing
-Natural mechanical understanding.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; computer skills/knowledge
- Can perform heavy work, lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent pushing and pulling heavy items, often lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language.
