Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $170,000 - $240,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Location: Remote.
Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an end-of-year bonus.

We are seeking an experienced Space Programs, Systems Engineer to work with a cross-functional team of Engineers, and our government customers. This role is focused on working with your peers and customers to develop and drive software development trade studies and estimations. You will coordinate with various teams to build development schedules, critical dependencies, and risks. The Systems Engineer will also develop tools and methods to increase the efficiency of the trade study process. This role requires excellent communication, collaboration, and solid writing skills.
Basic Qualifications and Skills:
- 12+ years of experience with Systems Engineering in a software development environment with a Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree with 2 additional years of experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in place of a degree OR a High School Diploma with 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in place of a degree
- An understanding and knowledge of the agile software development process.
- Experience with cloud computing and AWS.
- Background in creating budgets and funding profiles.
- Solid project management skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience, paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to manage complex relationships with customers, teammates, and partners.
- Strong writing and presentation skills and an ability to communicate at all levels of commercial and government organizations.
- Comfortable with uncertainty, with the ability to create structure and process when needed.
- Displays a strong sense of ownership for all projects and tasks.
- A growth-focused mindset, always curious.
- Facilitates mentorship and healthy collaboration across Bluestaq.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
