Join the Publix Technology team where you will be part of an agile software development team responsible for developing features on Publix.com using Sitecore CMS. Your primary responsibility will be architecting and developing solutions using Sitecore CMS, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
The most suitable hire for this position will be:
- Deeply knowledgeable on Sitecore CMS
- Competent to work at a high technical level of all programming activities related to internet-facing Web Development
- Competent at architecting complex web solutions

- Willing to provide excellent support for production systems, including some after-hours support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 9+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 9+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting customer-facing, e-commerce websites and APIs
- 9+ years of experience with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
- 5+ years of experience developing websites leveraging Sitecore CMS
- 5+ years of experience with .NET and C# development
- 5+ years of experience developing websites using frontend JavaScript frameworks
- 5+ years of experience architecting complex distributed web solutions for large user bases
- High degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Experience with Vue.js and React
- Experience with headless solutions using NodeJS, Next.js or Nuxt, and JSX
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with source control systems using GIT and Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Experience with PowerShell
- Experience with Solr
- Experience with Agile software development processes and Scrum
- Experience with unit testing and automation frameworks
- Experience building highly scalable systems and performance tuning them
- Experience with analytics, feature flag, and experimentation tools such as GTM, Optimizely, Launch Darkly, and Adobe Analytics
- Experience building websites to meet WCAG ADA compliance standards
- Experience with event-based and micro-service style architecture

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
