Description:

Publix Associate Services is seeking a Principal Software Engineer who will be responsible for installation, development and maintaining the mission critical SAP system landscape. The position includes 24/7 support for several business areas, such as human resources, manufacturing, and finance. The position requires in-depth knowledge of SAP as well as Unix/Linux and HANA.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 9 years of hands on SAP development experience
• Hands on experience developing solutions with ABAP, OData, CDS, and Fiori
• Experience extending standard Fiori applications
• Experience using SAP ABAP Development tools in Eclipse
• Experience with SAP Web IDE both on premise and cloud editions and knowledge about Business Application Studio
• Ability to debug and diagnose issues within solutions
• Knowledge of Fiori catalogs and groups, configuring Fiori Apps, and understanding the principles of the Fiori architecture
• Ability to build, publish and troubleshoot OData services and other RESTful APIs
• Experience developing solutions on S/4HANA with modern ABAP coding techniques (inline declarations, object casting, high level of abstraction, SAT ABAP Traces, Open SQL tracing and analysis).
• Three years of experience with SAP integrations and integration protocols, SOAP, REST, IDOC, SAP Datasets, etc.
• Solid understanding of how security could and should be leveraged to properly secure solutions while minimizing the need for redundant code
• Three years of experience with integration technologies (IDOC’s, XML, cloud integration, etc.) Two years of experience with S/4 HANA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in supporting Fiori solutions used by external business partners
• Experience with cloud solution integrations to on-premise (Ariba, Concur, Success Factors, etc.)
• Knowledge of dialog programming, Adobe form development, workflow, Personas
• Knowledge of data dictionary best practices (data modelling, normalization, indexes, performance, etc.) Understanding of SAP’s keep the core clean principle, and knowledge about ABAP RAP (Restful Application programing)

Frequency of Pay: Monthly

Potential Annual Pay with Bonus: $142,935 - $215,930

Year End Bonus: As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix Associate Services issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
