We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer who has deep experience in creating the capabilities that turn data into meaningful connections and insights. This role crafts and implements sophisticated software systems that efficiently capture, processing, and analyze consumer data to provide calculate insights in real-time. You will be a part of a group of experienced Engineers who deliver consumer data assets, reporting to the Manager, Technology responsible for consumer identity and insights.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop a robust engineering approach to deliver a real-time profile, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Continuously work to balance between build and buy based upon industry and capability advancements.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate advanced data rules and machine learning models into the creation of the profile.
Work closely with product managers to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Continuously research and integrate new technologies and methodologies to enhance capabilities.
Experience & Skills:
10+ years of related work experience in Software Engineering, with a focus on real-time complex event and stream processing.
Experience in crafting and developing complex, high-performance, highly available distributed software systems and architectures.
Experience with real-time processing technologies like Apache Beam and Flink
Previous success in crafting large scale data systems that perform complex event processing.
Strong skills in programming languages such as Python or Java.
Strong knowledge of API design and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data science principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this remote position is $172,036.00 to $265,430.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
