Position Specific Description
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the development and communication of target-state architectures, roadmaps, and solutions for technologies at the product portfolio level. With time and experience, the individual in this role may support several technologies spanning multiple product portfolios and/or multiple complex architecture domains (e.g., business, application, data, infrastructure).This includes building high-quality architecture solutions as well as providing expertise and guidance on the design and establishment of architecture standards that align with current and future business needs.
This role develops and maintains the architecture for assigned area and drives the adoption of new technologies. To be successful, the individual in this role must have deep solution architecture experience as well as an understanding of technical trends and innovation. This individual must also have a strategic thought process, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior leadership. The individual in this role works with little or no oversight and provides coaching and direction to more junior level architects on the team.
Qualifications
  • Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, or related field.
  • 12+ years' experience in technology disciplines.
  • Experience with architecting highly scalable & highly available systems, experience with mobile & other emerging technology trends.
  • Ability to synthesize conclusions from research, compare various solutions & plot complex technology roadmaps.
  • Broad experience across business, application, information, infrastructure & security architecture domains.
  • Broad experience across business analysis, product design, engineering, QA,operations & sustainment in a large corporation/enterprise environment.
  • Technical experience in consumer/employee facing enterprise systems.
  • Expertise in technical architecture, application systems design & integration in a large heterogeneous enterprise environ. with hands on experience in Microservices, Java/J2EE, XML, WebSphere/WebLogic/Apache Tomcat Application Server, Rules Engine, Oracle or DB2 programming methodologies.
  • Expert understanding of the code/coding practices.
  • Demonstrable analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding/experience of AWS,Azure cloud computing environments & services.
  • Excellent communication & relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical/non-technical staff.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the client
  • Identify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice; serve as an active contributor to the community's overall knowledge base and expertise
  • Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying new technologies that drive increased business value
  • Work collaboratively and having very strong communications skills, especially in instructing sophisticated concepts, and creative, prescriptive thinking across various levels of a client organization
  • Identify and proactively lead risk areas and commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolution
  • Handle customer expectations; negotiate solutions to sophisticated problems with both the customer and third-party partners
  • Review and accurate project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward
  • Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies to enable technologies including the Salesforce platform

  • Tried results in delivering high value business outcomes applying an agile approach
  • Confirmed results leading customer and/or partner success stories
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience are strongly recommended

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Works with business partners to analyze strategy and trends to define the requirements, principles, and models that guide technology decisions
  • Communicates and enforces technology standards with business partners
  • Understands industry trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies
  • Drives digital innovation and develops roadmaps through new technologies and approaches to fulfill strategic business plans
  • Defines high-level migration plans to address gaps in current state
  • Coaches, mentors, and leads technical subject matters experts to enable and drive consistency across technology architectures
  • Designs and owns governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance
  • Oversees and facilitates the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standards
  • Delivers technology architecture artifacts, possibly including reference architectures or concepts of operation
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
