In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Design and develophigh-performance RF integrated microwave assembly and power amplifier products to support our troops by creating mission critical technology, allowing us to defeat our enemies and save American lives. Whether you're working on various weapon systems, defensive systems or communication devices, you will work on an incredible team of engineers to solve complex problems and deliver the best products on the market.

You are responsible for:

  • Designing power amplifier matching networks using non-linear models
  • Developing the functional specifications for RF power amplifiers and integrated microwave assemblies
  • Detailed design and schematic capture of the electronic circuits
  • PCB and/or MIC layout designs meet design requirements
  • Developing, executing and reporting on design verification tests on prototypes
  • Providing support and guidance for the development of automated methods for sub-system testing
  • Release of the engineering design package to the production configuration management system
  • Selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Networking with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years' experience in related field or defense industry
  • Experience in RF and Microwave Circuit and System Design
  • Solid-State Power Amp design experience -- Experience designing from scratch
  • RF specific tools such as Microwave Office HFSS
  • Design Tools such as Cadence Allegro
  • General experience with Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and deliver timely, high-quality results


Additional Information

Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $101,000 - $185,000 for a Technical Principal / Manager at Remote USA.

* the role and related responsibilities;

* prior work experience;

* education, training, skills and certifications;

* internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles;

* alignment with market data.
