The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Education Lead Teacher for the for the Early Head Start Program. Under the supervision of ECE Administrators, the Lead Teacher will assist program operations and improvement, monitoring and implementation of effective practices through staff and program development. Additionally, ECE Lead Teacher will assist teaching staff with the development, selection, and maintenance of developmentally, appropriate instructional materials, supplies and equipment. The EHS Lead Teacher will plan, facilitate and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and conferences as deemed necessary to ensure compliance with program requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications Requirements / QualificationsREQUIREMENTS: -BA Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field -6 semester units of Early Childhood Education in Administration and Adult Supervision -Site Supervisor Permit or higher -Current CPR and First Aid certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association or EMS Certified) -Completion of Health and Safety course -Valid California Driver's license and current car insurance PREFERENCE: -5 years, or more, of ECE teaching experience, including home visiting experience -Bilingual/Bi-literate (Spanish) -Home based Experience
