As a Principal Product Managerfor our new Software Management module, you will be at the helm of a critical component of our WEX™ platform, directly contributing to its strategy and execution. This role is pivotal in building an offering that empowers IT Directors to optimize software asset management and improve workforce productivity through insightful, AI-driven analytics and cost-saving strategies.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and strategy for the new Software Management module, ensuring it aligns with the broader goals of the WEX™ platform and meets the specific needs of IT Directors and their teams.
Leverage AI-driven insights and market research to design and implement innovative features that help manage and optimize software spending and utilization across organizations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and data analytics to build and refine module features.
Interact with IT Directors and other key users to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure the module’s features are effectively addressing those needs.
Apply agile methodologies to manage the product development lifecycle, adapting quickly to new trends and user feedback.
Measure the impact of the module, using data to inform continuous improvement.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional experience at a software companies
5+ years of experience in software product management
Startup experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong background in managing a software product roadmap.
Ability to analyze data and insights to make informed decisions about product development and enhancements.
Capacity to think strategically about the big picture while also focusing on the tactical details of the module.
Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
Passion for understanding and meeting the needs of users, particularly IT Directors, to enhance their experience and productivity.
Able to navigate through ambiguity and act decisively to realize team goals.
