Job Summary:
This is an opportunity to join the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Mission Area supporting Global Patriot as a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Principal Analyst. In this fast-paced role you will work closely with the FP&A Manager through the entire forecasting process including Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), Investment Planning, Monthly Operation Reviews, Monthly Forecast Reviews, and Balance Sheet Reviews.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a complex & high-profile program area. This role will allow for high visibility during various monthly & quarterly reviews to LADS Leadership as well as Regional Program Area & Functional Leadership Teams.
This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote and/or onsite) and is based on the needs of the business. The role may be expected to be onsite up to 2-3 times per week in the Tewksbury, MA area.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Ensuring accuracy & completeness of data.
Support the organization through various weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual routines including the following: Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), Investment Planning, Monthly Operation Reviews, Monthly Forecast Reviews, and Balance Sheet Reviews
Analyze large amounts of data from various sources in support of various requests
Support frequent ad-hoc requests
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Typically requires 5 years prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years prior relevant experience
Experience with APEX, RPlan, or a similar toolset
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience briefing financials to various levels of management
Preferred Qualifications:
Financial Planning & Analysis Experience
Ability to meet critical deadlines while multitasking and managing workload requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with various functions and levels of management
Strong attention to detail & ability to analyze complex financial scenarios
Experience with large, complex programs
Experience interfacing with various functional disciplines

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
