For two decades, NVIDIA has pioneered visual computing, the art and science of computer graphics. With our invention of the GPU - the engine of modern visual computing - the field has expanded to encompass video games, movie production, product design, medical diagnosis and scientific research. Today, visual computing is becoming increasingly central to how people interact with technology, and there has never been a more exciting time to join our team!
What you'll be doing:
- Trailblaze company efforts in applying AI within conventional compilation pipelines.
- Drive development of AI-based technology addressing core problems of GPU programming.
- Forge a common toolbox which utilizes methodologies from compilation and AI domains jointly to achieve functional/performance goals.
- Interface and collaborate with multiple cross functional internal SW Teams/domains and apply the technology to optimize it.
What we need to see:
- M.S./PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 15+ years of experience working on conventional compilation pipelines and in-depth understanding of how to architect, implement and improve them.
- Previous exposure to LLVM IR and the LLVM project in general.
- Strong experience in mid- and low-level compilation optimization space.
- Understanding of intricacies of GPU performance, both graphics and compute.
- Exposure to graphics and compute APIs (VK/DX/OGL/CUDA).
- Programming languages: C/C++/Python.
- Git-based development experience.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Understanding of the SotA NN architectures.
- Expertise and hands-on experience with any of the SotA AI framework (TF/PyTorch).
