This PrIME Process Engineer role is located at the Southeast Fulfillment Center in Jackson, Georgia. Working behind the scenes in our supply network, Managers are vital to the success of our business at P&G. As a manager, you will work on a team that is responsible for keeping site throughput flowing, meeting performance goals, and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products.
This role is responsible for the interface between SAP, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and the Warehouse Controls System (WCS) in an automated warehouse. This individual is internally motivated to develop a deep understanding of technical components powering automation systems and has a natural aptitude for communicating technical understandings and training others. This individual is a technical leader for SAP, WMS and WCS’ at the Site and drives to deliver terrific results through disciplined troubleshooting.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical expert of the warehouse management system. Understand the front end of the system as a key user as well as the back end with deep knowledge of warehousing operation processes.
WMS Productivity & Inventory Management Engine (PrIME)
Responsible for the maintenance of the WMS by conducting testing, security refreshes, and system rollouts.
PrIME Site Expert – Provide input different options/solutions and implementation based on operating strategy.
Troubleshoot issues impacting the operation short and long term
On call and respond immediately to site issues to prevent/reduce lost time
Provide temporary workaround, if available while addressing issue
Find root cause and find solution to provide to contracted company system owner.
Configure the WMS to support the operation based on site requests/project.
Rollouts – Be informed of central team rollouts and lead site implementations.
Ensure quality and safety guidelines are met with each WMS changes
Support/Coach team to enhance operational capability by providing ongoing training and office hours
Emulate scenarios and write/submit change requests to WMS central team
Monitor WMS performance and ensure data integrity
Assist the operation in deploying key projects related to the WMS
Responsible for the planning and preparation and documentation of standard operating procedures/tests relevant to role responsibilities
Provide overall site training on WMS and SAP applications
Deploy new system tools for the site including web-based tools.
Drive site vision for storage capacity planning such as product slotting and zoning
Lead projects to deliver new site initiatives or cost savings
Access Controls/Governance
Add/change/terminate access for site applications
Ensure process is followed to follow internal controls standards
Auditing & Access Reviews
Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for WMS outage
Access management, application management, action plans
Hardware
Asset management of IT related items for material handling equipment (headsets/ RDT’s /scanners/dongles)
Escalate through IT solutions process
Own all equipment related to WMS such as operation printers.
Application/Security Owner
Support and troubleshoot all Application and Hardware interfacing with WMS
Desired Skills/Qualities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
Experience with Red Prairie / JDA / Blue Yonder WMS
Experience with SAP preferred
Experience with automation systems
Power BI Proficiency
Detail Oriented
Proficiency in Data Analytics is preferred
Technical Mastery –Willingness to learn and grow mastery in all WMS. Knowledge and experience in SQL coding language is preferred
Manufacturing and/or Logistics experience
Successfully manages multiple priorities, can operate under pressure, can internally assess risk and knows when to ask for help.

Job Qualifications
You are a good fit here if you:
Have a BS/MS degree in engineering. We prefer Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Supply Chain Engineering, though we may also consider other engineering.
Are willing to travel on the job on occasion. It really depends on your position, but we want to make sure you are ok travelling for this job.
Are willing to relocate during your career.
Have less than 3 years relevant work experience
