JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage productivity and quality, schedules daily work and production plans, coordinates production goals with maintenance goals, ensures compliance with MSHA and Cal-OSHA requirements, leads safety meetings including identifying and reporting safety concerns, and leads, develops and motivates Employees to maintain positive working environment and culture. Operate all Quarry Mobile or Stationary Equipment as needed to support the Secondary and Primary Teams. Work in alignment with Graniterock Safe Work Practices, Core Purpose, Values, and Objectives, and support "One Company" principles.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
SKILLS: Mobile & Stationary equipment operation experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good math and organizational skills. Leadership skills.
EXPERIENCE: Safe operation of loader, dozer, mobile and stationary plant equipment. Previous supervisory experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
SKILLS: Aggregate plant operation including customer service loading and rail operations.
EXPERIENCE: 5 to 10 years experience in aggregate production operations. Experience working in an MSHA regulated site.
OTHER COMMENTS: Must have valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record. The Team Lead position will primarily work on the day shift, but must have ability to work swing or graveyard when necessary. This position is covered under Local 3 Operating Engineers and is subject to Job Placement Regulations.
