Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our computer systems. Responsibilities:
- Enter data into computer systems with speed and accuracy
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is properly filed
- Respond to inquiries regarding entered data
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all data entered and accessed
Skills:
- Proficient in file management and organization
- Strong data collection and transcribing skills
- Basic math skills for performing calculations as needed
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Familiarity with computerized databases and systems
- Experience in Data Entry or administrative/clerical roles preferred
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
