Come and join our team at this  605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City.  Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center(OKC Thunder),  the Oklahoma Convention Center and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

 

The property  includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.

With 605 guest rooms and suites, the luxury hotel will showcase views of the 70-acre Scissortail Park and the downtown skyline with 75,000 square feet of meeting and event space, sports bar, specialty restaurant, coffee shop and a retail venue.

 

This role will ensure that our resort is well-maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality.


  • Perform CARE, PRP (Guest room Preventative Maintenance), Public Area maintenance and select Equipment Preventative Maintenance to the specifications required by Omni in both quantity and quality.
  • Inspecting and maintaining all public areas and guestrooms on an on-going basis to ensure everything is in good, working condition
  • Repairing and/or replacing various damaged or non-working elements in public spaces and guestrooms.
  • Filling out daily work forms and completing maintenance requests.
  • Completing any additional job duties as assigned by Chief Engineer
  • Assisting other departments as needed
  • Maintain and protect equipment
  • Replacing light bulbs, thermostats, and hardware.
  • Maintenance of furniture, sliding glass doors, plumbing, fixtures, locks.
  • Painting, grouting, caulking and tile replacement.
  • Maintaining carpeting, telephones, electrical devices, and drapes.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Able to work with Management on special projects.
  • Able to maintain engineering shops in a clean and organized manner.
  • Able to maintain engineering parts and supplies inventory.
  • Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible)
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.

  • Previous maintenance experience required, hotel experience and training preferred.
  • Minimum of two years hotel and/or commercial building maintenance required. 
  • Good communication, attention to detail, time management, computer and guest satisfaction skills are required.
  • The ability to stand/walk, bend, reach over-head, squat, kneel for extended periods of time. 
  • The ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.
  • Have a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Have flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
