We are currently seeking someone to lead a pressure washing crew for our local company in Lafayette. Shifts include some days but mostly night work and many weekends during peak seasons. We have an opening for a dependable, hard-working person with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be respectful, honest, and team oriented. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must have working phone and be available by phone during workday or night
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Typical physical demands of this job include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting minimum of 50 lbs
- Working outdoors with variable temperature and weather conditions
- Must be available to work nights and some weekends.
- Must attend monthly meetings and one-to-one quarterly meetings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Safely drive a truck and pull a trailer.
- Should have a basic understanding of equipment, i.e., turn machinery on and off, fuel machinery, properly connect hoses, connect garden hoses to faucets, use water key correctly, properly connect/disconnect quick connects, identify when to change o-rings on garden hoses, high pressure hoses and wands, identify which tips are needed for each type of machinery.
- Machinery must be kept in a clean and proper working order.
- Identify where to place safety cones on area prior to beginning work.
- Be completely aware of surroundings, i.e. identify where other people are working at all times, identify where hoses are positioned in order to prevent damage, identify when to help team move surface cleaner hoses to keep surface cleaner operating.
- Identify when to start rinsing after surface cleaner has covered a certain amount of an area to ensure that the surface cleaned areas do not dry before rinsing.
- Understand how to properly rinse, identify slopes on lot for drainage, identify proper angle and distance for wands.
- Able to identify areas that need additional treatment. Determine amount of solution to apply and dwell time before rinsing.
- Capable of properly rolling up hoses.
- Ensure that all equipment is accounted for at the end of each project.
- Properly secure all equipment and tools on trailer.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
