Pressure Control Operator (Shop/Offshore)

DIRECT HIRE Offshore/Shop position

• Base Pay (40 hrs p/wk)-_$39k_(approx $18.50 p/hr) $48k (approx $23.00 p/hr)
• PLUSOvertime and Bonus Pay ($100k-$120k)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under general supervision, performs pre-job product and service equipment preparation (assembly, test, mobilization), and with product installation at the well site.
• Assists in the installation of products at the well site, following established procedures and guidelines for efficient and accurate installation.
• Offshore rig up/rig down, checking equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Assists with post-job demobilization, clean up, and repair of service equipment and products.
• Develops a basic understanding of energy industry activities and jargon, and Pressure Control products and services such as general completion processes and procedures, both at the shop and at the well site offshore.
• Completes all well site and post-job paperwork.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to HSE related activities - site assessments and risk analyses, onsite safety meetings, PPE use, documentation, etc.
• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a local candidate(within an hour radius of New Iberia, LA)

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year Wellhead Pressure Control Operator experience (Oilfield Industry)
• Previous Offshore experience (a plus)
• Forklift
• Communication skills to effectively discuss job with team & supervisors.
• Must be reliable & a team player.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and writing skills to understand and document job-related information
• Basic computer skills
• Current Driver's License with dependable transportation is required.
• Water Survival and Safety certification may be required based on location. (All certifications will be completed on the job)
• Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen, Offshore Physical, MVR, and Background Check

ROTATION /SHIFT

• 21 days on/ 7 days off

Shop hours

• Monday - Friday (Overtime, as needed, assisting after hours and weekends)
• 8am-5pm

Offshore

• 2 shifts: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
• paid for 16 hours p/day while offshore, and any additional hours worked over.
• If working on days off, then paid for 18 hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
