Job Summary:
As a Press Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by setting up, operating, and maintaining machines used to punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic materials. Your attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work effectively in a team are essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press machines in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and quality specifications.
- Produce parts and components with precision and consistency to meet daily production quotas.
- Identify and promptly report manufacturing defects or irregularities to management for resolution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall production goals.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, particularly in press machine operation.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of produced parts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new machines and processes.
- Physical capability to handle materials and perform tasks required for the role.
- Good communication skills to report defects or issues to management.
