Job Overview:
The Press Helper will be responsible for all activities associated with supporting the Press Department with print design set up, operation, clean up, and staging materials.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must become familiar with technical aspects of the press and be able to assist troubleshoot printing issues.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Prepping roll stocks to load into the printing press.
- Preparing finished rolls for inventory.
- Responsible for complete and efficient print changeovers.
- Responsible for inspection and maintenance of printing equipment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be able to accept direction but function independently and be self-motivated.
- Must possess a "can do" attitude.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend production schedules.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Must regularly lift and/or move more than 50lbs.
