dineoutwith.us is on a mission to help the world revive the dying art of the dinner party by translating it into a luxe, private, culinary adventure at best-of-breed restaurants.
As a pioneer in the burgeoning social dining space, dineoutwith.us partners with restaurants to offer exclusive off-menu, private dining experiences to groups of six or more diners. dineoutwith.us dinner parties are initiated by a user who, acting as a “host”, invites friends, colleagues, or family members for a unique, customized experience.
dineoutwith.us allows people to easily gather friends, family and colleagues at restaurants, solving the six-person maximum of the incumbent, non-committed reservation platforms (i.e., OpenTable, RESY, etc.). This serves both diners and restaurants well: diners enjoy a frictionless evening of convivial conversation and a unique dining experience, and restaurants gain a much better way to manage the “in-between” (i.e. too big for reservation platforms, too small for a private event professional) group size of 6-20.
As President, you will first partner with, and then take the day-to-day reins from, the Founder. Managing the day-to-day operations of the business in NYC and eventually our national rollout. As a market-entry stage leader, you will focus on actualizing our market entry plan, helping to secure resources, and leading a vigorous execution.
We’re seeking a high-energy individual who knows what it takes to scale a startup company, has a passion for execution, has solid and demonstrable team-building skills, and has a track-record of fundability. This is a primarily equity position prior to raising sufficient capital to fully-fund the company.

Requirements:
- 4+ years in the role of a senior operations leader in a B2C, B2B, or B2B2C company
- Demonstrated success in a leadership role in a high-growth, early-stage start-up
- Ability to raise capital from angels and venture investors
- Impeccable character, values, and "my word is my bond" ethics
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, solid EQ, and a high degree of competence in leading a wide range of personality types, work styles, and cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrated success at creating actionable operating plans and adapting then to changing business conditions
- Experience developing, implementing and achieving KPIs
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
- Solid facility with SaaS productivity platforms for project management, CRM, marketing automation / analytics and HR.
- A deep-seated need to achieve the highest standards of quality, accuracy and timeliness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in basic workplace software (MS Office, Google Apps)
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assemble a world-class business operations and marketing team
- Implement resources and processes to optimize team performance
- Oversee NYC launch and national expansion
- Identify opportunities to use platforms, contractors and external vendors where appropriate to achieve operational goals
- Help define operational, financial, and marketing KPIs and work with the CTO to create appropriate reporting systems
- Participate in the creation of company financial projections and reporting systems
- Support the Chairman in the fundraising process
Location and Availability
This company is based in Manhattan, and is full time and hands-on. WFH / hybrid at the outset, but onsite once funding is in place.
