The Opportunity:
The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is searching for an experienced campaign or project manager in the conservation sector with a desire to excel to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work directly with senior leadership across the organization, have an impact on WCS policy and programs and get experience and exposure at the C Suite level.
To be considered an ideal candidate, you must be a self-starter and strategic thinker who acts with a sense of urgency and delivers timely results. You should be adept at navigating complex business and management challenges. It's vital that you are a team player and can collaborate with a variety of business partners. Preferably, you'll have at least 10 to 15 years of experience in a related field of business management, assisting executives in a complex organization.

- Organize - organize ideas, projects, people, time, and resources necessary to keep the CEO moving forward
- Communicate - ensure that the CEO has the material necessary to communicate WCS's vision, ideas, and projects. This includes securing the appropriate content, providing context, and helping connect the dots across all organizations
- Coordinate - Projects and tasks to the appropriate people, and to support them in developing outcomes
- Build and lead the daily operations of the Office of the President. Gate-keeping and overseeing the flow of communication between the President/ CEO and key stakeholders
- Facilitate Special Projects, and aid in ensuring action items are executed on behalf of the Office of the President
- Manage the cadence for leadership meetings, leadership engagements with internal and external stakeholders, including structuring and helping to deliver company-wide communication. Plan events/ interventions when needed.
- Triage all incoming requests for the executive's time and work collaboratively with the Executive Assistant to ensure the calendar is aligned with the priorities of the organization
- Assess all inquiries directed to the President/CEO, determine priority and the proper course of action. Track high priority initiatives for the President/ CEO to identify any/potential obstacles
- Serve as an advisor to the President/ CEO, and follow up on action items with the team accordingly
- Aid the appropriate staff in providing analysis, recommendations, and options to the President/ CEO regarding high impact decisions
