Must have a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education/Exceptional Child to qualify as a Preschool Teacher for a Developmental Preschool

We have a very supportive, collaborative school district Each school has a set meeting day so that IEP and Eligibility meetings are held during school hours on that day with substitute teachers arranged. We have four professional development days where staff earn university credit that we host within the district geared towards the specific needs of our special education teachers. Applicants must have an Idaho teaching license with Generalist Exceptional Child K-12 or be able to apply for one through the State Department.

Applicants on the alternative route must have a Bachelor's Degree and be willing to complete the ABCTE program to obtain a teaching certificate during employment as long as they do this within the first three years after being hired, if they do not already have a current teaching certificate nor an endorsement in Special Education. Applicants who don't already have an Endorsement for Special Education Generalist will want to check out and apply to begin the ABCTE alternative process to certification. Pay: $47,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
