- Interacts frequently, effectively and respectfully in a loving and nurturing manner
- Communicates directly with each child at the child’s level
- Encourage and model positive social behavior through loving, nurturing methods of positive age- appropriate guidance
- Provide a safe environment with a variety of developmentally appropriate materials
- Possess a clear understanding of Infant/Toddler Development
- Demonstrate respect for diverse cultures by providing anti-bias, non-sexist language, images and experiences.
- Able to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and collaborate with the other Teachers to accomplish goals based on age-appropriate individual needs
- Must be a Team Player, work with others respectfully and be able to take direction
- Must be able to represent the goals of the preschool
- Observe and document children’s development and skills and communicate this to parents
- Keep environment safe, clean and attractive assuming an equal share of joint responsibilities
- Must be a self-starter with regard to completing all tasks
- Respond to parents with sensitivity, interest and respect in a friendly welcoming manner
- Follow all State licensing requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
