Full-time Tenure Track Position
Must hold valid NJ P-3 and TOSD teaching certificate
The ideal Preschool Teacher candidate will:
- The Preschool Teacher will Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
- The Preschool Teacher will Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- The Preschool Teacher will Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
- The Preschool Teacher will Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
- The Preschool Teacher will Monitor and assess the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- The Preschool Teacher will Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- The Preschool Teacher will Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- The Preschool Teacher will Implement classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree and valid NJ Teaching Certificates in P-3 and TOSD.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Strong understanding of age-appropriate learning activities and curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Skills:
- Toddler care: Experience caring for toddlers, including meeting their basic needs and providing a safe environment.
- Math: Ability to introduce basic math concepts to preschool-aged children through hands-on activities.
- Classroom management: Skill in maintaining order, discipline, and engagement in the classroom.
- Early childhood education: Knowledge of theories, practices, and techniques related to early childhood education.
- Daycare: Experience working in a daycare setting, including following licensing regulations and providing quality care.
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with children in various capacities.
- Classroom: Ability to create an engaging learning environment that promotes active participation.
- Physical education: Knowledge of age-appropriate physical activities to promote gross motor skills development.
- Experience working with students: Previous experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Tutoring: Ability to provide individualized instruction and support to students as needed.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
