Job Description
• Follow Health and Safety standards to provide an appropriate learning environment
• Prepare lessons, arrange the room, implement lessons
• Implement positive discipline/guidance to enhance socio-emotional growth and development
• Read stories, organize and implement circle time activities, create art projects, and engage children in age-appropriate activities
• Be able to work with individual students as needed, as well as students' groups
• Work cooperatively with master teacher and center director
• Maintain classroom and children’s belongings organized and tidy
• Complete daily sheets to record activities and progress throughout the day and if necessary, document accidents and write incidents reports.
• Develop and maintain a respectful relationship with families.
• Exhibit professional conduct, and responsibly participate with staff and administration.
• Must be engaging, punctual and responsible in facilitating learning
• Must have a great deal of patience, be kind, and LOVE working with children
