Supports the network's fire/Life Safety, emergency preparedness, resiliency, and continuity of business operations programs. Assists the network Fire Marshal in ensuring regulatory compliance for all fire/Life Safety and emergency preparedness-related requirements. Coordinates emergency preparedness and crisis management activities, develops and delivers fire/Life Safety education, and assists the Network Fire Marshal in reviewing and creating policies, implementing corrective action plans, and performing fire inspections.

Job Duties
- Provides operational support to the department and colleagues throughout all phases of emergency management including emergency responses.
- Coordinates and assists with the facilitation of educational programs, exercises, and deployments.
- Oversees Fire/Life Safety inspections, investigations, and incident documentation.
- Provides administrative support and coordination for Fire Safety and Emergency Management activities and programs.
- Makes recommendations to the department for improving operations and compliance.
- Develops and executes meaningful tabletop drills and full-scale emergency exercises that involve community members and network colleagues.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years Healthcare management, fire code enforcement, or emergency management/emergency services.
- Record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Visio products.
- Knowledge of fire/Life Safety codes as they relate to business occupancies and healthcare occupancies.
- Knowledge in emergency incident management, fire safety education, and healthcare emergency preparedness program development.
- Drivers License Commercial Class A within 1 Year
- BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire and
- EMT - Emergency Medical Tech PA within 180 Days and
- NFPA-472 Hazardous Materials Technician within 1 Year
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Healthcare administration, fire science, emergency services administration, engineering, political science, public administration/policy, healthcare-related science, or emergency management.
- National Healthcare Disaster Professional (ANCC) within 3 Years or
- Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP) within 3 Years or
- NFPA-Certified Life Safety Specialist for Health Care Facilities Managers. Upon Hire or
- Plans Examiner Certification (NFPA) Upon Hire or
- Fire Inspector II Certification (NFPA) Upon Hire or
- Fire Investigator Certification (NFPA) Upon Hire
- Fire inspector I within 1 Year or
- Pennsylvania Labor and Industry Certified Fire Codes Official within 1 Year
