One of the product lines that MAG USA is focused on are our award-winning "Escape Lounges," our line of premier, common-use Airport Lounges.

The Role – Prep Cook

We are currently looking for motivated and experienced Prep Cooksto join our professional hospitality team at our exclusive Escape Lounge. This role requires an experienced and rounded hospitality professional as the duties are varied. Duties include:

• Following recipes/product directions for creating our freshly made and baked product
• Preparing foods to be cooked including washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding
• Maintaining stock levels and food rotation to ensure our foods are fresh throughout the day
• Operating a variety of kitchen equipment
• Disposing of recycling, compost, and trash
• Ensuring the kitchen is clean and organized with a high standard of hygiene
• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares. Occasionally polishes utensils. Drains dries and stacks items after washing.
• Maintain a pace enough to prevent back up of dirty dishes, glasses, etc. Return and restock all items to appropriate area after washing and sanitizing procedures are completed
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Follows and complies, or ensures compliance, with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Other duties will be assigned as needed

Qualifications and Skills

As the successful candidates, you will have experience within the hospitality sector with a proven track record in the delivery of high-end service.

• Experience in as Prep Cook and/or Dishwasher is required
• You must be a team player and be able to work in collaboration with your team-mates. We have an inclusive, professional culture and only employ staff who embrace and share these principles.
• Given the nature of the Airport Lounge, you will have to be flexible around shift times and availability.
• You must be over 21 years old to comply with our service of alcohol policy.
• You must be able to pass a TSA background check in order to obtain an airport badge.
