We are looking for someone to fill our Premium Sales Manager position that is located at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. Home of the MN Timberwolves and MN Lynx.

Job Summary
The Premium Sales Manager is responsible for sales of all premium areas, including but not limited to suites, unsold ticket inventory group tickets and upgrade event opportunities for select Target Center events.

Essential Functions

PREMIUM SALES PROGRAM:

Work with Director, Booking, Marketing & Sales to develop pricing and strategic offerings for Suite Rentals to maximize event rental revenue and

Work closely with Hospitality Department to coordinate suite rental inventory on a show-by-show

Drive the development and operation of the Spotlight Club program, including marketing, upgrades, sales/renewals, and guest experience to expand overall program

Leverage unused inventory to create new premium programs and new revenue
Work with Hospitality Department and Levy Restaurants to ensure the premium program integrity while managing program costs.

Execute effective corporate sales calls and presentations promoting the purchase of premium seating products in order to meet established sales objectives.

Proactively solicit and follow up on any personal sales leads under the guidelines established by

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:

Build and sustain positive relationships with Target Center clients through direct and indirect Dealing with, managing, and maintaining developed and assigned customer accounts.

Manage client expectations and service needs as the primary contact for Target Center and all Target Center clients.

Achieve first-contact resolution of client issues to ensure they are resolved quickly and
Support the Target Center Accounting department in obtaining payments for outstanding accounts and working with clients on setting up approved payment

TICKET MANAGEMENT:

Utilize the arena ticketing system as a database for account history, ticket orders and client

Assist in training Target Center accounts on using mobile ticketing and pre-orders from Levy

Accountable for updating and maintaining arena ticketing system with current client information and logging in client touch points.

Assist clients in fulfilling additional ticket

OTHER DUTIES:

Participate in events, promotions, client entertainment and other activities as

Maintain and be able to produce on a regular basis accurate report regarding sales, appointments and account maintenance.

Required Qualifications

A minimum education level of an BA/BS in a related field
A minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience
Experience selling face-to-face to corporate decision makers, exposure to premium seating and sponsorship sales, and/or previous sports/venue management experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to write reports and business correspondence
Proven track record in developing long-lasting business relationships with corporate executives
Polished presentation skills, with an ability to think and react to situations quickly and confidently
Must be assertive, persistent, proactive, and results oriented
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, escalation rates and sales volume
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to analyze problems involving many variables
Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ability to learn required business systems
Committed to ensuring superior customer service
Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner not only with clients and guests, but with co-workers within the organization
Strong verbal and written communication
Highly organized with good coordinating and project management skills
Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Established business contacts and experience in the Twin Cities region preferred
Knowledge of ticketing and/or food and beverage ordering software is preferred
