Acquisitions Intern

The Acquisitions intern position will be responsible for adding new people and properties each month to our company database and categorizing the records by type and ranking.  The position is responsible for researching information on clients and passing along sales leads to the Acquisitions Department.  The value this position brings to the organization is it helps the company increase our knowledge of our property acquisition clients so we can build better relationships in the industry.

• Build and curate a robust client database with all the key commercial real estate contacts including developers, owners, tenants and properties to be used for marketing and prospecting purposes.
• Research and Identify lists of target properties and research property owner names and contact information by contacting counties and cities by phone or by using various third party internet resources
• Send new completed research property owner names to Acquisitions Associates to call for business opportunities.
• Research and track in house and nationwide closed property transactions and report findings as requested.
• Build out customer profiles of top 100 clients in the company CRM.
• Perform city demographic studies.
• Review research priorities on a monthly basis with the Acquisitions Team to establish special research projects.
• Monitor CRM database for information integrity.
• Research and manage competitor and market trends (macro industry data) and information using internet resources and third party resources.
• Review print and electronic publications for client activity and new contacts.
• Monitor research production reports.
• Play a supporting role to the department database manager of the company CRM (Sage) to assist in maintaining the internal property, contact and company database.
• Build internal relationships with acquisitions team and technology to assist in improving business processes and productivity.
