Job Description
We are in search of a dynamic Prefabrication Multi-Trade Product Specialist to serve as the pivotal role in redefining construction through the application of cutting-edge prefabrication techniques. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to not only shape strategies but also to identify, develop, and optimize prefabricated products tailored for accelerating adoption of multi-trade distribution, such as horizontal and vertical racking, modular utilities, and other complex systems. The goal is to increase adoption of these means and methods across DPR Construction. This person will serve as DPR's subject matter for this role's primary product lines and knowledge of secondary product lines.
Primary product lines: horizontal and vertical multi-trade racks, branch and distribution methods Secondary product lines: interior wall panels, modular rooms, volumetric MEP/ CEP/ CUP, surgical ceilings.

Primary Responsibilities include:
Product Lifecycle Management and Integration:Understand, lead by example, and transfer knowledge of the entire lifecycle of prefabrication products, from conceptualization to punchout.

• Develop strategies and tactics on how to approach the primary product lines with input from core market leaders, prefab team, supply chain, prequal, PSPP.
• Identify possible new products and support new product development team.

Pre-positioning and RFPs: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate prefabrication into facility designs, showcasing the benefits of specific products. Provide RFQ/ RFP and interview assistance and content when requested to ensure target pursuit teams are knowledgeable.
Early Integration: Collaborate proactively with Regional Prefab Leaders (RPLs) and project teams to identify opportunities for prefabrication integration, emphasizing compelling facts and success stories related to MTRs Develop and maintain I&E Guidebook and workshop presentations for primary product lines.
Developing category/brand playbook inclusive of sales, design, process, and others. This document should clearly communicate to each DPR work group what they need to know and with tangible examples.
Supply Chain Understanding and Optimization:
Gain a comprehensive understanding of supply and installation requirements for the product line nationwide, considering regional variations.
Identify and communicate the prefab "go/no-go zone," recognizing optimal situations and deal-breakers. Gain valuable knowledge and communicate to teammates.

• Assist Prefab Product Research Coordinator and Prefab Partnership Manager in discovering, evaluating, and tracking potential and active strategic prefab partners to fully understand their products, services, and experience.
• Maintain a Pitch Deck and Need to Know slide deck
• Maintain a comprehensive project and client list, case studies, contact information, and other important information.
• Co-lead with Prefab Partnership Manager monthly strategic partnership meetings and distribute meetings notes and actions.
• Develop and maintain compelling value propositions for primary product lines is the responsibility of this role.
• Conduct, or delegate, factory tours for prefab partner and distribute factory tour reports to prefabrication team.

Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in prefabrication, proposing inventive solutions that captivate project teams and drive early adoption of prefabricated products. Tell our story. Attend and speak at least two industry events to position DPR as an industry leader. Work with National Prefab Leader on innovative solutions to automate the design of these complex concepts.
Stakeholder Education and Communication:Educate and train internal teams, owners, and designers on the benefits and optimal use of prefabricated multi-trade solutions and products.

• Provide workshops to DPR, design, and clients on primary product lines.
• Establish credibility, build trust, and communicate effectively within the DPR matrix structure. Attend core market meetings.
• Actively participate in Prefab Management Meetings and Product Team tactical meetings.

Align prefabrication solutions with building type requirements, ensuring early integration enhances project timelines, reduces on-site disturbances, and aligns with compliance standards. Understand best practices, and key details when primary and secondary product lines interface
Generate and manage standard operating procedures within the respective Product Line Integration and Execution Guidebooks.
Data-Driven Decision-Making:Support detailed analysis of product cost, schedule, and scope, working alongside National Prefab Precon team, PSPP, Prefab Products Team, and RPLs.

• Support Prefab Precon Manager ensuring WinEst, SmartBid, and A2 Generators have accurate information.
• Develop a risk registry to quantify value of primary product lines.

Provide quarterly/monthly updates on brand performance, cost, schedule, production, and lead times.
Collect and manage data, including case studies, to inform decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
Drive continuous improvement of preconstruction processes, buyout procedures, and scope definition.
Consolidate national best practices for the product lines.
Stay current on DPR experience and apply knowledge to enhance product lifecycle management. Distribute quarterly report and end of year recap with prefab wins.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Proven experience in offsite manufacturing with a focus on prefabrication and early integration strategies.
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing/Construction concepts. Six Sigma Experience a plus. A deep understanding of various manufacturing processes, such as machining, welding, casting, and additive manufacturing (3D printing), is essential.
• Competence in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software is crucial for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes. Experience with Catia, Solidworks, or other Dassault Systèmes products a plus.
• Programming and Automation: Understanding or experience in programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and knowledge of automation systems (e.g., PLC programming, robotics) can be advantageous for streamlining manufacturing operations. A plus for this role, but not prerequisite.
• Materials Science: Understanding materials properties and selection is important for choosing the right materials for manufacturing processes.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully driving early adoption of prefabrication.f
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze and present compelling data to project teams, influencing adoption decisions.
