Job Description
As a Sales Engineer, you will have a significant impact in achieving Agio's Vision and Mission of providing Resilient, Reliable, and Secure information systems, and will have a direct impact on Agio and its customer base. Through your day-to-day activities, your key objectives are:
- Gather customer requirements and build solutions based upon Agio's product line-up.
- Co-ordinate with salesperson and technical architecture team to ensure solution meets customer requirements
- Produce sales quotations and sales documentation in a timely manner.
- Work with technical staff to ensure solutions can be delivered as promised.
Responsibilities
- Attend sales meetings both virtual and in-person with sales team in the New York Metropolitan area
- Gather customer requirements, understand their business goals and align to a technical solution
- Build solutions based upon Agio's product line-up to suit customer requirements
- Co-ordinate with subject matter experts to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
- Must be flexible to work within customer availability
- Ensure timely creation of sales documentation to allow the salesperson to build quotations.
- Identify product upsells within existing clients to match the customer needs
- Should be comfortable speaking to clients regarding their technology needs and making recommendations
- Speak up when products do not match customer requirements
Objectives Year One
- Achieve a high success rate with sales engagements
- Attend in-person sales meetings as necessary
- Create new product offering based upon emerging technology
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong technical background based in Microsoft technology
- Strong experience and understanding of Microsoft Azure technology stack
- Understanding of network technology and network hardware
- 3rd level qualification/tier 3 engineering experience
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of modern security practices
Nice to haves
- Microsoft Qualifications (Azure Architect Expert)
- AWS experience
Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Agio's results-based variable compensation program that is dependent upon company and individual performance.
