We are seeking a professional knowledgeable in the Audit and Risk space, preferably experienced in internal Audit. Candidates having an understanding of the day to day role of an auditor would be ideal.


As a Pre-Sales Consultant working within our Audit and Risk team, you will support the Sales Team as a vertical SME with the task of ensuring that the solutions being offered meet the customer's requirements. Thorough product and domain knowledge are not only required to present solutions that highlight the product’s features and benefits, but also to demonstrate an understanding of the ‘day in a life’ of an auditor and audit cycles whilst having consideration of the customer pain points and desired outcomes. Your ambition should be to become the trusted advisor for the buying audience during their buying journey with Ideagen.


Ideagen view the role of a Pre-Sales Consultant as the co-pilot in the sales process, your role will be to work closely with your sales community to ensure that the right focus and effort is applied to deals and revenue retention. Thorough product and domain knowledge are required to present solutions that highlight the product’s features and benefits by understanding of the customer pain points and desired outcomes. Your ambition should be to become the trusted advisor for the buying audience during their buying journey with Ideagen. This role is a home based role based in the US but they may be the need to travel on occasion.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the products relevant to the sector and domain
  • Demonstrate the product(s) to the level of a technical (domain technical) expert
  • Learn the competitive advantages of the solutions and support the sales teams through the buyers journey with
    Ideagen
  • Make good decisions under pressure and be flexible in a changing work environment
  • Hold the ability to learn and understand technical concepts quickly
  • Be able to think rapidly in front of clients and communicate responses effectively
  • Be organized and able to work independently
  • Collaborate and share ideas and techniques with colleagues
  • Represent Ideagen in a professional and positive manner at all times
  • Product demonstrations
  • Scoping and managing discovery and detailed workshops
  • Assist where required in the qualification of opportunities
  • Provide top level demo training to the sales community where needs are identified
  • Create content/media to support Marketing and Sales (Videos, presentations etc.)
  • Contribute to and review bid responses
  • Contribute to the creation of business cases and value propositions
  • Engaging with Sales managers and Sales teams on changes within domain / Industry, product enhancements
    and observations
  • Contribute to Product Lifecycle meetings by feeding back comments and ideas that may enhance the Product(s)
Skills and Experience:
  • Ideally 3+ years an internal auditor or Risk management professional (Ideally looking for someone involved in grc or audit system implementation).
  • Software Pre-Sales, Sales, service delivery experience desirable but not required as we will train the right industry fit
  • Organization and Time Management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and an attention to detail.
  • Be innovative and collaborative
  • Flexibility.– time, approach to work, different buying audience cultures -Proven experience using Microsoft applications and technology
  • Understanding of report writing and the value reports bring to an organization
