Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse I AC (Acute Care) position is responsible for the planning and delivery of family-centered patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborate with patient/family and other professional disciplines. Create a partnership to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery for the achievement of mutually desired patient outcomes. Support the organization’s vision and mission. Promote and provide excellence in nursing care. Upon successful completion of the RN Residency program, the Associate is transferred to the unit of hire and reports to the Nursing Manager. Pay Range
Minimum $35.93 Midpoint $46.71 Maximum $57.48 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Required: Newly graduated from an accredited school of Registered Nursing with less than 6 months of clinical experience
Education
- Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) (effective on all offers made after November 1, 2015)
Training
- Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Preferred: Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
