Pre-Operative (PreOp) / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) needed in Lakeland, FL.

This position is with a progressive, financially stable Surgery Center.

Salary and Benefits

• Pay is based on experience and starts at $36.40 and up
• 21 days PTO (accrued in 1st year)
• LTD/STD paid by employer
• $50,000 in life insurance
• 401k with 4% employer match
• Holiday pay
• 10hr shifts Flexible Schedule 4 days a week
• Have have to be able to start as early as 5:15 and stay after 7 pm some days.

Responsibilities:

• Administering pre-operative assessments and evaluations.
• Preparing patients for surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitoring patients post-surgery during the recovery phase.
• Managing pain control and providing necessary interventions.
• Collaborating with medical teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitoring vital signs and addressing any emergent situations.
• Educating patients and their families about post-operative care.
• Ensuring proper documentation and accurate medical records.
• Adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintaining a patient-centered approach and delivering high-quality care.
  

Requirements:

• Current Florida RN license required
• ACLS, BLS required
• 40 hours per week.
